I have received many mentions of  fermented cod liver oil from the comments visitors leave in my cod liver oil blog and from that i can tell that fermented version cod liver oil tastes better than the normal cod liver oil.For me,it’s a great thing since the only thing that i hate about taking cod live oil is its taste and it would be great if i can have a good smelling and good tasting version of cod liver oil.But,wait…Does this Fermented cod liver oil as good as the original Cod liver oil.

Now,Fastforward to the present day to know how cod liver oil is produced these days…. The liver from the cod fish will be dumped in a huge container and it will be heated.The heat will break down the liver to let the cod oil out.It’s done fast and quick.The problem is many of the nutritional properties also get lost while the heating process is on.Then why are we consuming the normal cod liver instead of the FERMENTED COD LIVER OIL? Because the normal cod liver oil produced by heating can be produced instantly in a cost effective manner for the marketers.
